In August 2017, the University of Maryland’s David Tomblin and CSPO’s Mahmud Farooque, Jason Lloyd, and Kimberly Quach visited Cumberland and Baltimore, MD, to host focus groups. In partnership with the Kettering Foundation, the discussions gathered citizens’ concerns and hopes about the development and deployment of self-driving vehicles.
