Stacey Freeman is the Program Manager for Sustainability in Science Museums at the Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives. For the past five years, Stacey managed education, outreach and diversity programs at two National Science Foundation research centers in Kansas and California. Prior, she directed an undergraduate certification program in Nonprofit Leadership and Management at ASU’s School of Community Resources and Development at the downtown Phoenix campus. Stacey is currently writing her dissertation for a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Evaluation. For her research, she interviewed African American college students to understand what factors influenced their academic persistence to a research one university.
