Federal Aviation Administration officials are estimating there will be more than one million drones gifted during this year’s holiday season. Yet the FAA currently has no regulations in place for integrating drones into U.S. airspace — despite a mandate for completion by Sept. 30, 2015. Paired with the growing use of drones by businesses and the federal government, questions are being raised about the impact these unmanned aerial devices (UAD) will have on airspace safety and our own privacy.
