Biography

Dr. Susheera Pochiraju specializes in detecting and treating bacteria and chemical compounds that influence the taste and odor (T&O) of drinking water. She also has expertise in a host of other drinking water subjects, including treatment design, source water characterization, algal blooms, and bioassays. For her PhD, Susheera investigated novel T&O compounds in 18 drinking water utilities; her research was published in journals including Water Research and AWWA Water Science.
