Lisa Magaña

Biography

Lisa Magaña is an Associate Professor in ASU’s School of Transborder Studies. She is an expert in the areas of immigration and Latino public policy issues, and is the author of the books Straddling the Border: Immigration Policy and the INS (2003) and Mexican Americans and the Politics of Diversity: ¡Querer es poder! (2005), and the co-editor of the anthology Latino Politics and Arizona’s Immigration Law SB 1070 (2013).
