Jaden Uram

Biography

Jaden Uram is a research intern working on a range of projects with CSPO. These include a participatory technology assessment of carbon dioxide removal technology (CDR), the planning of a research center on the participatory assessment and governance of climate intervention technologies, a project studying the use of AI in the federal regulatory process, and a project studying the history of science policy as a discipline. Jaden is a rising junior at Yale University studying physics & philosophy. He is interested in how interpretations affect the meaning of scientific theories. He is also interested in climate modeling and is currently researching the impacts melting ice caps could have on atmospheric rivers. At Yale, Jaden leads first-year students on orientation backpacking trips and teaches environmental science to kids in the local New Haven community. In the future, he hopes to pursue a graduate degree in physics and to continue working at the intersection of emerging science and policy
