Edward Cariño

Biography

Edward Cariño is a rising fourth-year Aerospace Engineering major at the University of Virginia, minoring in Technology Ethics. As a member of the 25th cohort of the Policy Internship Program, he focuses on bridging engineering with science and technology policy. He is passionate about fostering inclusive engineering environments and is an enthusiastic supporter of the Hoos. At CSPO, he is working on the Marine Carbon Dioxide Removal project, helping convene workshops to develop guidance for conducting responsible and transparent mCDR field trials.
