Biography

Chinelo Onwualu is an award-nominated writer, editor and recovering journalist. She is the co-founder of Omenana, a magazine of African speculative fiction. She is a 2024 finalist for the British Science Fiction Awards and the recipient of the 2014 Octavia E. Butler Scholarship. Her short stories have been featured in several magazines and anthologies and her debut collection of essays by authors of colour, Ex Marginalia, is available now.
