Biography

Anja Bauer, is the Associate Professor at the Department of Society, Knowledge and Politics at the University of Klagenfurt in Austria. Anja has extensive experience in research and teaching on environmental, sustainability and technology policy issues, with a particular focus on the role of expertise, anticipation and participation in policy making. During her stay, Anja will focus on the institutions and practices of scientific policy advice on matters of science and technology in the United States. In addition, she is exploring initiatives related to open energy modeling.
