Biography

Rider Foley is a post-doctoral scholar with the Center for Nanotechnology in Society at Arizona State University.  Dr. Foley is also engaged in the Sustainability Science for Teachers at the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College as a Faculty Associate.  Additionally, he is a Research Collaborator at the Biodesign Institute’s Center for Sustainable Sustainability Science Education Project.  Dr. Foley holds a Ph.D. in sustainability from Arizona State University, and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from University of New Hampshire. Before earning his doctorate, he has worked for Triumvirate Environmental Inc. as a general manager in Connecticut and sat on an advisory board to the Connecticut Department of Environmental Services during that time.
