This talk will explore some of the issues associated with appropriate technologies, and more specifically, with technology-in-the-schools projects in the developing world. We will explore which factors are more likely to lead to success or failure in such endeavors, and our discourse will be informed and illustrated by experiential learning and in-the-field experiences.
