The following are basic guidelines for authors with accounts on this blog. If you would like to contribute, but are not a registered author, email cspawn@cspo.org.

General Guidelines

This blog is an appropriate venue for anything related to  research and other activities of CSPO, as well as to broader issues associated with science, technology, and society. In addition, this is a place to think about expanding and promoting the role of students in this intellectual domain.

We welcome creativity, curiosity, generosity, breadth, depth, humor, and gravity. Formality is not all that important. Civility is essential. Criticism of ideas is welcome. Personal attacks are not.

Posts do not need to be very long. However, the content of a post should do more than simply draw attention to a link. If you do not have something interesting to say about an article or web page that you are posting, then it is probably not worth posting about it.

Procedure

Make sure to check spelling, grammar, and hyperlinks.

Please specify a broad category for your post, and add whatever specific tags are relevant.

You are responsible for monitoring any comments made on your post, and of course, we hope you will respond and keep the discussion going!
